The Yokogawa CP701 is a CPU module for the CENTUM VP DCS system’s field control station. It features a 75 MHz processor and 8 MB of memory, supports real-time process control calculations, and can accommodate up to 32 I/O modules. It supports redundant configurations to ensure continuous industrial operation. It is powered by a 24 VDC industrial power supply and is designed for rack-mount installation. Equipped with two 100Base-TX Ethernet ports and RS-232/422/485 serial interfaces, it is compatible with various fieldbus protocols, enabling data exchange between the controller, upper-level systems, and field devices. The control cycle can be configured within the range of 10–1,000 ms. Operating temperature: 0–55°C; storage temperature: –40 to +85°C; relative humidity: 10–95% (non-condensing). It offers strong resistance to industrial electromagnetic interference and is suitable for process industries such as petrochemicals and power generation.
