The GE IS215VCMIH2CA and its counterpart IS200VCMIH2CAA are pivotal communication boards within the GE Mark VI turbine control system. Engineered with precision, they are designed to ensure seamless data transfer and communication across various components of the Mark VI setup.

Physical and Design Attributes

Both boards feature a front faceplate attached to the main circuit board via screw mounts along the front edge. At the top and bottom edges of the faceplate, two screw mounts are present. One is emblazoned with the GE logo, while the other displays the board ID number. These mounts not only secure the board firmly in the VME rack during installation but also assist in detaching it from the backplane when replacement becomes necessary.
