Installation and Configuration
Installation of hardware
It needs to be used with AC500 series baseplate (such as TB511-ETH) and power module (such as PS501) to support DIN rail or panel installation.
Communication modules, such as CM577-ETH, can be extended with additional interfaces and need to be configured through SYCON.net software.
Software configuration
Use ABB PS501 or Automation Builder software for programming and debugging, support online monitoring, variable tracking and firmware upgrade.
The IP address, communication parameters and user permissions can be directly configured through the Web server to simplify the initial setup process.
